Putting an end to days of speculation, former MLA and former BJD heavyweight Prabhat Biswal officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party today. In a massive show of strength, Biswal arrived at the BJP State office with hundreds of supporters in a grand procession starting from Master Canteen Square. In the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Majhi and Odisha BJP President Manmohan Samal, he formally took the party membership, marking a significant shift in Cuttack politics. The Mishrana Parba was organized as a major joining event at the Odisha BJP headquarters. Along with Biswal, many of his supporters also joined the party.
