The Odisha Crime Branch on Tuesday has arrested former State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Director Manoj Padhi in connection with errors found in school textbooks. A special team led by DSP Narendra Behera is conducting the investigation. He is currently being questioned in detail regarding the matter. The arrest comes as part of the ongoing probe into massive errors found in newly published textbooks for Classes I to VIII by SCERT.
