A major accident took place near Hi-Tech Square in Bhubaneswar when a Hyva truck hit a car and dragged it for nearly half a kilometre. According to reports, the incident took place on the Palasuni flyover under the jurisdiction of Mancheswar Police Station. Eyewitnesses said the Hyva truck lost control and crashed into the car before dragging it dangerously along the road, creating chaos among commuters. A man and his niece trapped inside the damaged car had a miraculous escape. Both sustained minor injuries and were rescued by locals. Police reached the spot, seized the truck, and arrested the driver. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
