In a setback to Biju Janata Dal in Choudwar, Ward No. 12 Councilor Subrat Samal has resigned from the party. He has sent his resignation letter to BJD President Naveen Patnaik. In his resignation, Samal extended support to Prabhat and Souvik Biswal. He alleged that the Municipality Chairperson was ignoring him and creating hurdles in developmental work in his ward.
