A large gathering of tribals was seen at Berhampur Railway Station as more than 1,500 people from Ganjam, Gajapati, and Kandhamal districts assembled to travel to New Delhi by a special train. The delegation, organized by the Janjati Suraksha Manch, is heading to the national capital to take part in a tribal cultural congregation. The event is being held under the banner of Janjati Sanskritik Samagam. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to address the gathering on the 24th. The group also plans to meet President Droupadi Murmu during the visit.
