Senior journalist Pushpamitra Mohanty breathed his last on Tuesday afternoon at his residence in Cuttack. He was 60. Notably, the late Pushpamitra Mohanty was the youngest son of Surendra Mohanty, the legendary Odia literary figure, former MP and first editor of daily Sambad. Pushpamitra Mohanty worked in various departments of Sambad for over three decades. He played a leading role during the launch of the Sambad Portal in 2016.
