The ICC Cricket World Cup 2027 will be held in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia, with 14 teams taking part in the 14th edition. The tournament will begin on October 2, 2027, with the Super Series.

India and Pakistan have been placed in Group A and will face each other in a high-voltage match in Johannesburg on October 10. India will begin its campaign against Australia on October 7. Afghanistan and Zimbabwe are also in Group A.

Group B includes Bangladesh, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and one qualifying team. Three teams will compete in the Super Series for a place in the final 12-team group stage, which will be divided into two groups of six.

India’s matches will draw particular attention as the 2027 World Cup could be the final World Cup appearance for senior players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
