The Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment examination will be completed by October this year, Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) Chairman Rashmi Ranjan Swain informed on Wednesday. The announcement comes after the exam was earlier cancelled due to a question paper leak. Swain clarified that students who were deprived of appearing in the exam due to the leak will get another chance. Candidates who have crossed the age limit in the meantime will also be allowed to appear. The Chairman further stated that there will be no change in number of applicants, exam pattern or syllabus. Earlier, the SI recruitment exam was postponed after reports of a question paper leak surfaced.
