Director General of Police Yogesh Bahadur Khurania chaired a high-level review meeting at the state police headquarters in Cuttack on Wednesday ahead of the upcoming Debasnana Purnima in Puri on June 29. Authorities confirmed deployment of 72 platoons of police force, supported by six SPs/Commandants, 17 Additional SPs and 42 DSPs to ensure smooth darshan for devotees. the meeting conducted a detailed review focusing on strengthening crowd control, traffic management, and comprehensive security arrangements, keeping in view the gathering of devotees.
