In a major push for industrialization, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Friday made key announcements at the Eastern Regional Council meeting aimed at transforming Odisha into Eastern India’s top industrial state. To fast-track the industrialization process, Odisha CM Mohan Majhi today unveiled the ‘Go East’ platform, a landmark initiative to accelerate industrial growth across Eastern India. The State Government also plans maximum capital investment in border districts to ensure balanced regional development and local employment. Announcing major reforms to Odisha’s Industrial Policy, the CM accorded ‘Thrust Sector’ status to 15 districts to promote non-mineral industries and drive balanced regional development.
