The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has issued a public warning regarding a fraudulent social media account created in the name of party member and former IAS officer Sujata Rout. BJD Spokesperson Dr. Lenin Mohanty on Friday expressed concern over the matter, clarifying that Rout currently does not operate any social media account. However, some unauthorised individual has opened a social media account in the name of Sujata Raut. Mohanty urged the public not to believe or share any posts made through such fraudulent accounts. The party has requested people to rely only on official communication channels for authentic information. The BJD is examining further steps to report the impersonation to the concerned platforms and authorities.
