The Supreme Court on Monday pulled up the National Testing Agency (NTA) in the NEET paper leak case, observing that the agency failed to learn from previous paper leak incidents. The Apex Court also issued notice to the Centre, seeking its response on the matter. The bench directed the NTA to file an affidavit within 3 days and asked the CBI to keep the court apprised of the investigation status. The Court was hearing petitions filed by Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) and United Doctors Front (UDF) seeking to bar the NTA from conducting examinations following the NEET-UG paper leak. After the paper leak, a re-examination has been scheduled for June 21.
