The mortal remains of A. Ramayya, who died in a Ukrainian drone strike, have been brought back to India from Moscow after coordinated efforts between his recruitment agency and the Russian company he worked for.

Officials held discussions with the owner of the agency through which Ramayya had gone to Russia. Following this, the agency owner spoke with the CEO of the Russian company where Ramayya was employed to arrange the repatriation of the body from Russia to his village.

The coordinated intervention helped bring Ramayya’s body back to Delhi. From Delhi, the mortal remains will be flown to Bhubaneswar Airport and then taken to his native place, Madhabandha in Chikiti, for the last rites.
