Veteran Actor Mushtaq Khan Passes Away at 56 After Battle With Lung Cancer

Veteran actor Mushtaq Khan, who appeared in several popular Hindi films in supporting and comic roles, passed away on Thursday after battling lung cancer. He was 56.

Known for his memorable performances, Khan featured in films including Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Hera Pheri, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Rowdy Rathore and Welcome. His distinctive comic timing and supporting performances earned him recognition among Hindi film audiences.

One of his most memorable moments came with the dialogue, “Meri ek taang nakli hai…”, which became a widely recognised comic scene and continues to be remembered by audiences.

Khan’s death marks the loss of a familiar face of Hindi cinema, particularly known for bringing humour and character to supporting roles.
