The US space agency NASA has invited Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to join its Moon Base program, deepening the US-India deep space partnership. The news came as the Department of State and NASA co-chaired the 9th Civil Space Joint Working Group in Bengaluru, advancing the US-India TRUST initiative. ISRO Chairman and Secretary of the Department of Space, Dr V Narayanan, and US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor opened the segment by highlighting the importance of strengthening bilateral space cooperation.
