Successful JSSC-CGL Candidates Hold Protest March After Exam Cancellation
The Jharkhand Cabinet’s decision to cancel the JSSC-CGL examination has triggered widespread anger among candidates who had successfully cleared the recruitment process and were already serving in various government departments across the State.

On Tuesday, successful JSSC-CGL candidates took out a protest march from the State Secretariat to Birsa Chowk, expressing concern over the possibility of losing their jobs following the cancellation decision.

The protesting candidates formed a human chain at Birsa Chowk and appealed to Chief Minister Hemant Soren to protect their careers. They urged the Chief Minister not to take any decision under pressure.

The candidates maintained that they had gone through the prescribed recruitment process and were serving in their respective departments. They appealed to the government to consider their situation sympathetically and ensure that their appointments are not affected by the decision to cancel the examination.
