Hamza Burhan, one of the masterminds behind the 2019 Pulwama attack, has been shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, according to reports. Sources said the incident took place in PoK, where Hamza Burhan was targeted by unknown assailants. The 2019 Pulwama terror attack targeted a CRPF convoy in Jammu & Kashmir and led to the death of 40 personnel. Indian security agencies had named several individuals, including Buran, as key conspirators behind the attack. Hamza Burhan was a key operative linked to the Pakistan-backed terror outfit Al-Badr and also worked as an Over Ground Worker (OGW) during the Pulwama terror attack period.
