Pakistan’s Supreme Court has ordered the immediate transfer of jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan to Islamabad’s Shifa International Hospital for medical treatment amid concerns over his health. The court has also directed authorities to submit his complete medical records before the next hearing. The order follows a petition filed by Khan’s family and legal team seeking his transfer to the private hospital and permission for doctors of his choice to examine and treat him.
