Odisha Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, approved 12 proposals, with a major focus on strengthening education and ensuring no child is deprived of schooling due to financial constraints. Among them, the proposal from the School & Mass Education Department received approval. Under the approved proposal, students will not have to pay any fees for school enrollment. The decision is expected to benefit lakhs of students, especially from economically weaker sections, and reduce dropout rates.
