Low-Pressure Area Likely to Form Over BoB; Odisha to Witness Rainfall from Tomorrow

Odisha is likely to witness a fresh spell of rainfall, with the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar forecasting an increase in rain activity from tomorrow.

A low-pressure area is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal around August 22. Under its influence, several parts of western, northern and coastal Odisha may experience heavy rainfall.

For the next 24 hours, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak and Baleshwar. Light to moderate rainfall is likely at a few places in these districts.

The weather office has also issued a Yellow Warning for 14 districts for tomorrow, indicating the possibility of increased rainfall activity across the State.

According to the forecast, rainfall is likely to continue across Odisha from tomorrow through August 25, with several areas expected to receive moderate to heavy showers.
