India clinched the Gold medal in the women’s kabaddi event at the Asian Games after defeating Iran in the final. The Indian women’s kabaddi team produced a 37-34 strong performance in the summit clash to overcome Iran and secure the gold medal for the country. With this victory, India has now won three gold medals at the Asian Games. The women’s kabaddi gold adds to India’s growing medal tally at the continental sporting event.
