Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s scheduled visit to Odisha has been cancelled. Shah was slated to visit Bargarh on July 4. Senior BJP leader and Bargarh MP Pradip Purohit confirmed that the visit has been called off. During the trip, the Home Minister was scheduled to inaugurate an ethanol project along with several other development projects in the district. No official reason has been given for the cancellation. Revised dates for the visit and project inaugurations are yet to be announced.
