Odisha Government facilitated the safe return of over 60 migrant workers after an ammonia gas leak at a seafood factory in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. 62 migrant workers reached Bhubaneswar railway station and sent to their homes. Most workers are from Kendujhar and they are young girls. Hundreds of workers were affected in the accident, with 70 of them admitted to the Tamil Nadu hospitals in critical condition. Meanwhile, another Odia worker died in the horrific ammonia gas leak incident in Tamil Nadu. With this, the death toll of odia migrants in the accident has increased to 12.
