Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill slammed centuries to put India in a strong position during their chase against the West Indies in the second ODI at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium. Gill scored his second consecutive ODI century, reaching the milestone in just 62 balls with the help of 10 fours and five sixes. Rohit also completed his hundred in 72 balls as the Indian openers shared a partnership of more than 250 runs. India were chasing 406 after the West Indies posted 405/7 in 50 overs. John Campbell, Shai Hope and Amir Jangoo scored centuries for the visitors. During his innings, Rohit also became the seventh batter in ODI history to complete 12,000 runs.
