India Enter Women’s Hockey Final with 2-0 Win Over South Korea

India entered the women’s hockey final at the Asian Games 2026 after defeating South Korea 2-0 in the semi-final. The victory also assured India of at least a silver medal.

The match remained goalless in the first half despite India creating several attacking chances. India made eight circle penetrations in the opening quarter, while South Korea managed only two.

India finally broke the deadlock towards the end of the third quarter when Ishika converted a penalty corner to put the team ahead. India added another goal in the fourth quarter to seal a 2-0 win and book a place in the final. With a silver medal already secured, India will now aim for gold.
