Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a productive conversation with US President Donald Trump on Wednesday, reviewing key areas of bilateral cooperation between India and the United States. According to PM Modi’s post on X, the two leaders discussed cooperation in trade, defence, energy and critical technologies. They also exchanged views on important regional and international developments. During the conversation, Modi and Trump agreed to maintain close engagement to further advance the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. The two leaders also discussed efforts to promote global peace and security, underlining continued cooperation on issues of shared regional and international interest. The talks come as India and the US continue discussions on bilateral trade and broader economic cooperation. Indian Trade Minister Piyush Goyal is also in the US this week for talks related to a proposed Bilateral Trade Agreement.
