The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has named Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Saeed as an accused in its supplementary chargesheet filed in connection with the Pahalgam terror attack. According to the NIA, the cross-border terrorists behind the April 22 attack had direct links to Hafiz Saeed. The agency has cited evidence establishing his role in planning and facilitating the attack. Earlier in December, the NIA had filed its first chargesheet in the case naming 7 operatives of LeT/TRF for their involvement in the attack.
