Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday distributed over 51,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits across the country through virtual mode. The distribution was part of the 19th edition of the Rozgar Mela held nationwide. The Rozgar Mela is a recruitment drive for central government departments and organizations. Addressing the new appointees, the Prime Minister said that 12 lakh appointment letters have been distributed across 18 Rozgar Melas held so far. The new recruits will join various ministries and departments including Railways, Home Affairs, Posts, Health, and Financial Services, among others.
