A Flydubai flight travelling from Dubai to Tel Aviv was forced to make an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday after an alarming incident involving the two pilots. Flight FZ1073, carrying around 180 passengers, reportedly transmitted emergency signals during the flight, including code 7500, which is associated with unlawful interference or a possible hijacking. The alert initially triggered serious security concerns, including the scrambling of Israeli fighter jets. One pilot reportedly attempted to crash the aircraft. The second pilot, with the assistance of passengers, managed to make an emergency landing. The exact reason behind the mid-air incident remains unclear. However, Israeli security officials later said the incident was not a hijacking or crashing and was linked to a physical altercation between the pilots. Passengers reported hearing screams and seeing signs of a struggle. Reports that one pilot was stabbed have circulated, but details of the stabbing have not been confirmed. The aircraft reportedly experienced a sharp descent during the incident before the situation was brought under control. The plane diverted to Tabuk Airport, where it landed safely.
