China Southern Airlines has announced that it will resume flight services between Guangzhou and New Delhi from September 21. The resumption marks the return of direct air connectivity between China and India after a gap of nearly six years. According to the airline, more than 100 flights per week will operate across South Asia, strengthening air connectivity between the region and China. Meanwhile, Chinese President Xi Jinping left Beijing on Saturday for the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Xi is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with PM Modi on Saturday.
