The registration deadline for the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) for the Kharif season has been extended once again, with eligible farmers now allowed to enroll in the scheme until August 31. The Centre extended the registration period following a request from the Odisha Government, aimed at ensuring that more eligible farmers can benefit from the crop insurance scheme. The extension is intended to provide additional time to farmers who have not yet completed their registration.
