A tragic accident occurred in Kolkata after the roof of an under-construction factory collapsed. Four workers died and several hospitalised after a three-storey under-construction warehouse in the Taratala area of west Kolkata collapsed Wednesday afternoon. So far, 21 workers have been pulled out alive and shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment. However, around 20 more workers are still feared trapped under the rubble. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari visited the disaster site where rescue operations are underway. The death toll is expected to rise as rescue teams continue searching. According to officials, the collapse happened suddenly while construction work was underway.
