The Cuttack Special SC/ST Court on Wednesday granted conditional bail to former State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Director Manoj Padhi, the accused in the controversial textbook error case. The case pertains to errors and objectionable content found in newly published textbooks for Classes I to VIII by SCERT, which had triggered widespread protests and debate across the State.
