The Supreme Court on Wednesday gave a clean chit to former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in connection with the Talabira-II coal block allocation case. The case related to the allocation of the Talabira-II coal block in Odisha in 2005. The Court noted that there were no sufficient grounds to take cognisance of the case against Singh and the other accused.
