President Droupadi Murmu on Monday inaugurated the Jagadguru Kripalu University in Kataka district. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the President said “Education is the foundation for building a prosperous future.” She expressed hope that the new university will contribute to achieving the goal of a “Viksit Bharat” or Developed India. The President described the establishment of the university in a historic region like Kataka as a matter of pride. She urged the institution to become a centre of knowledge and research. In her speech, President Murmu highlighted that India has the largest youth population in the world and called upon the youth to become the medium of national progress. Attending the event, CM Mohan Majhi said that this institution, built on the divine ideals and humanitarian vision of the revered Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, will develop our youth into characterful and capable citizens through a unique combination of modern science, AI and cyber security, along with our age-old values, yoga and mind management. Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj and other dignitaries from across the State were present at the inauguration ceremony.
