The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, has approved industrial projects worth Rs 4,573 crore for Odisha. The authority has given clearance to 23 projects across 11 districts. These projects are expected to create 22,873 employment opportunities in the state. The approved projects lay special emphasis on Green Energy equipment, Food Processing, Healthcare and Tourism. Key Highlights: ➡️Five-star hotels will be set up in Cuttack and Sambalpur with an investment of Rs 190 crore. ➡️A five-star resort will come up in Khordha at a cost of Rs 70 crore. ➡️A Global Development Center will be established in Khordha with an investment of Rs 730 crore. ➡️A ready-made garment manufacturing unit will be set up in Puri with an investment of Rs 50 crore. ➡️The state government said these investments will boost industrial growth, generate large-scale jobs, and strengthen Odisha’s position as a preferred investment destination.
