NEET-UG Paper Leak: CBI arrests another Mastermind, Botany Professor from Pune
CBI has arrested another key accused in the NEET paper leak case, Manisha Gurunath Mandhare, a senior botany professor from Pune.
 
According to the agency, Mandhare was tasked by the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an expert for setting Biology questions, specifically for Botany and Zoology.
 
The investigation revealed that she leaked biology questions to aspirants through her private coaching network in Pune ahead of the May 3 NEET exam.
 
Most of the questions provided by Mandhare matched those that appeared in the May 3 NEET paper.
 
CBI so far detaining 9 people in connection with the NEET paper leak.
 
Out of these, five accused have already been produced before the court and taken into seven days police custody.
 
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested the kingpin of the NEET-UG paper leak, a chemistry teacher PV Kulkarni on Friday.
