Amit Shah to confer 'President’s Colour' to Odisha Police
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will present the prestigious ‘President’s Colour’ to Odisha Police on July 5.
 
The ceremony will be held at the 7th Battalion Ground in recognition of the force’s exemplary service and dedication.
 
Ahead of Home Minister Shah’s visit on July 4, DGP Y B Khurania, reviewed security arrangements and protocol for the two-day visit.
 
The ‘President’s Colour’ is one of the highest honours awarded to a police or armed force unit for distinguished service to the nation.
 
Odisha Police is being felicitated for its notable contributions in maintaining law and order, anti-Maoist operations, and disaster response.
