Death toll in the Kolkata warehouse collapse has risen to 11, Kolkata Police confirmed on Thursday. While 8 deaths were initially reported last evening where the shed of an under-construction warehouse collapsed in Taratala yesterday, three more bodies were recovered during overnight rescue operations, taking the toll to 11. Police arrested five people, including the project’s supervisor and iron structure fabricator. Indian Army, NDRF and other teams are conducting operations at the site.
