BJP State President Manmohan Samal on Friday addressed a press conference on the upcoming visit of the President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Odisha. Calling tomorrow a “memorable day for Odisha”, Samal said both the President and Prime Minister will be present on a single stage during the State Government’s second anniversary celebrations. He stated that PM Narendra Modi is visiting Odisha after creating a record as an elected Prime Minister for the third consecutive term. On this occasion, PM Modi will gift Odisha a major package for its development. Samal informed that the Prime Minister will lay foundation stones for projects worth Rs 47,000 crore. He added that PM Modi has always spoken about the development of Purvodaya, and Odisha’s progress is central to that vision. The joint presence of the President and PM at the anniversary event is being seen as a significant moment for the State.
