The National Human Rights Commission has sought a detailed report from Kendrapada District Collector and Superintendent of Police over the case involving Tikhiri Sarpanch Chameli Ojha. NHRC has directed the district administration to conduct a proper investigation into the matter and submit a report within 15 days. The Commission has also asked for an ‘action taken report’ within 2 weeks.
