The southwest monsoon advanced into some parts of Odisha on Friday. The monsoon has entered the State from North Odisha. Information in this regard has been given by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). According to the Met Department, the monsoon has entered several coastal districts including Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, and Balasore.
