The Jharkhand High Court has stayed the Hemant Soren led State Government’s decision to cancel several recruitment examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC). The Jharkhand High Court has directed the State Government to file its response to the petitions within 15 days. The court has sought the government’s reply on the decision concerning the cancellation of the recruitment examinations. The development comes as a major relief for candidates who had successfully cleared these examinations and were facing uncertainty regarding their appointments and future employment. Meanwhile, two separate writ petitions have been filed in the Jharkhand High Court challenging the State Government’s decision to cancel the 11th to 13th JPSC Civil Services Examinations.
