Ahead of the 18th BRICS Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday joined leaders and prominent business representatives for a family photograph at the BRICS Business Forum 2026 in New Delhi. The discussions focus on trade facilitation, resilient supply chains, digital connectivity, payments and greater integration among BRICS economies. Group photograph of Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with BRICS Leaders, Chairs of BRICS Business Council and BRICS Women’s Business Alliance came as a symbolic reflection of India’s effort to place business, investment and economic cooperation at the centre. Addressing the BRICS Business Forum 2026 in the national capital, PM Modi said that BRICS countries now represent around 50% of the world’s population, 40% of global GDP and more than 25% of global trade. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen holding hands with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, with Russian President Vladimir Putin and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa alongside them.
