Missing Naidu Commission Files: Odisha CM Orders Crime Branch Probe Into Swami Laxmanananda Case
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has directed the Crime Branch to investigate the alleged disappearance of key files related to the Naidu Commission report on the murder of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati.

The direction came after concerns were raised over the missing documents linked to the judicial inquiry that probed the 2008 killing of the VHP leader in Kandhamal district. Swami Laxmanananda’s murder had triggered widespread violence in the region.
