A new express train between Puri and Koraput will start running soon, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) informed on Wednesday. The train will operate three days a week. It will depart from Puri on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. From Koraput, it will leave on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. The Puri-Koraput Express will run via Sambalpur. The train will have a total of 19 stoppages along its route. The new train is expected to improve connectivity between coastal and southern Odisha, benefiting pilgrims, tourists, and daily commuters.
