In a major political development, the Indian National Congress is set to join hands with Thiru Vijay’s Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) ahead of Government formation in Tamil Nadu. TVK President Thiru Vijay has formally requested the INC’s support to form the next Government in the State. The Congress high command has directed the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee to take a final decision on Thiru Vijay’s request, keeping in view the sentiments of the state as reflected in the electoral verdict.
