Banks across the country will remain open on Sunday, September 27, to ensure convenience for customers ahead of a proposed three-day bank strike starting September 28. The decision has been taken to facilitate banking services for customers during the period of the strike. The strike has been called by bank employees’ unions demanding a five-day workweek, with two days of weekly holidays. The proposed strike is scheduled to run for three days from September 28 through September 30.
