In a sudden political twist in Tamil Nadu, TVK General Secretary Aadhav Arjuna met AIADMK chief Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Wednesday, hours after TVK President Thiru Vijay had sought the Congress party’s support to form the Government in Tamil Nadu. Following the development, the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee delayed its scheduled press conference on Vijay’s request for support. Earlier, Thiru Vijay had written to the Congress leadership seeking support, citing a mandate for a secular Government.
