PM Modi dedicates 7 redeveloped Railway Stations in Odisha under Amrit Bharat Scheme
Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated seven redeveloped Amrit Stations across Odisha under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
 
The seven stations are Barpali, Balangir, Paralakhemundi, Talcher, Kesinga, Bimalgarh and Baripada. They fall under the jurisdiction of the East Coast Railway (ECoR).
 
During the day, Modi also flagged off India’s first hydrogen-powered train connecting Jind to Sonipat in Haryana and launched 75 modernised stations across the country.
 
Thanking the PM and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for the projects, Odisha CM Mohan Majhi Majhi said, these stations will redefine the travel experience for the people of Odisha with modern passenger amenities, Divyangjan-friendly design, seamless accessibility and world-class public spaces.
